Biting flies do not breed indoors and in most all cases (other than stables and barns), are the
result from outside invasion. They easily slip into homes or buildings, through cracks or
open doors. The search for food and wind easily brings them from breeding grounds to surrounding human areas.
During outdoor activities, it's unrealistic to be 100% annoyance free from the large population of
blood thirsty flies, but there are ways to protect yourself as well as reduce and deter them from
your yard.
- Use of Fly Zappers, Fly Traps, and Fly Sprays will help protect your
porch and patio areas.
- Use screening and seal off access points.
- Wear long sleeves and pants when outdoors.
- Use bug sprays when outdoors.
